Easy 1950s Updo Tutorial

I was watching The Help on TV the other day, and I have been inspired once again by the era of the 1950s. (Even though The Help is set in the sixties, there are many similarties!)

If you couldn't tell by my outfit posts, I often stick to one or two hairstyles that I wear day to day. I decided to experiment with an easy 50s-inspired hairstyle that would look fantastic with your pearls! 

1) Start off with second-day hair, as it will likely hold the style better. 2) Section a 1 inch piece of hair. 3) Tease the section if you like and pin it high up on your head. 4) Pull up the rest of your hair into a bun. 5) Spray with shine spray or hair spray to lock it in!
